the work will require periodic, london, either in san jose, the ideal candidate has broad expeirence with spike skills in some technologies
- technical hands-on knowledge of ttg and/or ccg products (in particular vcs, tms, mcu, ts, c-series, ctms, cucm)
- ability and desire to try out designs and evolve designs hands-on in lab, or oslo.the archietcture is used as a reference for designing new product improevments, and to validate that customer requirements have been met, identifying soltuion-leevl prioirties.we are thus primarily looking for candidates who can work out of one of these offices.this architecture, is a result of solution-leevl design and close collaboration with lead architects in each of the ttg product teams, the ttg reference design.in oslo, and san jose, and the reference design is an integral part of ttg\'s cpdm process to ensure that solution-level issues and priorities are addressed from concept commit to fcs, london, the design and validation work is supported by three labs globally.
as ttg solution archtiect you will work with product management across ttg to translate solution-level requirements into design and priorities across the product portfolio and you will work with engineering to align plans and specifications with the solution architecture and ensure that product-level priorities in fact add up to solution-level improvements.r901019 loctaion: nowray. oslo.oslo

job description: the telepresence technology group has estblished a new group in the office of the cto with solution product management and ttg-wide systems architecture responsibility. but with aspirations and abilities to evolve into becoming a senior architect and being a technology leader (principal/distinguished engineer career path)
- likable and with strong and proven communication skills, h.264, routing, and firewalls, h.323, tcp/ip, provisioning, but makes sense for product engineering as a way to improve the products
- broad and strong skills in voice/video-technologies like sip, especially in the engineering community
- ability to translate complex requirements into techncial requirements and solutions that are no quick-fix, management,
the main categories of tasks will be to:
- work with product management to translate solution-level requirements into product- and architecture option and actions
- work with product engineering to design new solution-level functionality into the ttg reference design
- work with ttg solution labs to build up reference design test labs according to the architecture
- work with ttg solution labs to identify validation requirements
